Cable Fault Diagnosis Based on Metal Sheath Grounding Current Monitoring Technology

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the data of grounding current of metal sheath fault monitored by online monitoring platform, so as to judge the cable operation fault. This paper lays a theoretical foundation for the study of the formation mechanism and variation law of grounding current of metal sheath, and understands the relationship between it and cable fault. Then the real-time monitoring data of the grounding current of metal sheath is obtained by the power grid multiple fusion system, and the alarm information is filtered by setting the threshold value. Finally, the further analysis of the data for grounding current of metal sheath determines whether there is a fault in the running state of the cable and verifies its feasibility.
