Biomass,as a renewable and abundant source of organic carbon,presents a sunstainable alternative to conventional fossil fuels.The efficient conversion of biomass into fuels and chemicals is essential for alleviating energy and environmental issues and achieving carbon neutrality.However,the complexity and diversity of biomass feedstocks present significant research challenges.Among biomass types,lignocellulose holds particular promise due to its abundance,unique structure,and the fact that it is inedible and does not compete with the food supply.Yet,its stable structure,characterized by numerous C-O and C-C bonds,poses challenges in direct conversion to valuable chemicals.Conventional pyrolysis methods suffer from drawbacks,such as high energy consumption,low product selectivity,and limited economic feasibility.Therefore,developing high-efficiency and mild catalytic conversion strategies and reaction paradigms is of paramount importance.
