Network analysis of perception of exercise benefits/barriers and kinesiophobia among patients with cardiovascular diseases

•This is the first study to use network analysis to explore kinesiophobia in patients with cardiovascular diseases.•The three central items can be as targets for intervention on kinesiophobia.•Perception benefits of psychological outlook is useful for preventing kinesiophobia.•Perception barriers of physical exertion can be targets for avoiding kinesiophobia.
