摘要
A versatile optimization process is developed to improve γ-ray directional detection, using spatial arrangements of many detection units. The iterative process utilizes a novel approximate simulation to quickly estimate the detector’s response to low energy γ photons. Successful executions reveal superior structures for a notable deep-space γ-ray burst localization mission.
