Patient experience and unmet needs in high-risk nonmuscle-invasive bladder cancer: Insights from qualitative interviews and a cross-sectional survey

•Many patients only received induction therapy.•Nearly all patients reported that avoiding radical cystectomy was important.•Most patients were generally satisfied with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin treatment.•More side effects, treatment cycles, and discomfort related to lower satisfaction.
