Vitamin K1 intake is associated with lower risk for all-cause and cardiovascular disease mortality in community-dwelling older Australian women
Nutrition, Metabolism and Cardiovascular Diseases(2023)
摘要
•Higher dietary vitamin K1 was inversely associated with mortality.•Specific benefits were observed for cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality.•A nadir in benefit was observed from vitamin K1 intakes of ∼80 μg/day.•These relationships were independent of lifestyle and CVD-related risk factors.•Vitamin K1-rich foods (green leafy vegetables) should be promoted for CV health.
