Study of the hydroxylation of the TiO2 thin layer prepared by spin-coating method using FTIR analysis and DFT method

摘要
•TiO2 Nano-powders were produced by the sol–gel method.•The TiO2 film was produced by the spin-coating method.•Hydroxylation was done by adsorption of water and by adsorption of the NH4OH/H2O2/H2O mixture.•The comparison between the two modes of hydroxylation was made by FTIR analysis and by DFT method.
