Synthesis and X-ray crystal structure of the PtII complexes [(CN)2dppPtCl(CBT)] and [(CN)2dppPt(CBT)2] (CBT = m-carborane-1-thiolate) as potential anticancer agents in BNCT (boron neutron capture therapy). The species are also characterized by IR, UV-visible and NMR spectral measurements.
