摘要
The study of methods to enhance the properties of composite materials for various application areas is an enduring topic. In this paper, a high-performance filler was prepared by grafting hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and amino-terminated butadiene nitrile rubber (ATBN) onto graphene oxide (GO). Epoxy resin (EP) was selected as the object of feasibility verification, and the EP composite material was prepared. It is worth noting that both physical and chemical bonding mechanisms were utilized to significantly improve the adhesion properties, mechanical properties, and thermal stability of the EP composite material. The T-peel strength reached as high as 16.4 N/mm, which is a 469 % increase compared to pure EP. This paper provides a new and more efficient approach to the modification of composite materials with superior results.
