A math-heuristic approach for scheduling the production and delivery of a mobile additive manufacturing hub

•Production and delivery are optimized simultaneously for the mobile AM hub with batch processing printer.•A math-heuristic combining genetic algorithm and branch & bound is devised to solve the model efficiently.•Numerical results validate the effectiveness of proposed algorithm compared with CPLEX and traditional genetic algorithm.•The performance of mobile AM hub under different cases is analyzed to provide managerial insights.
