摘要
The Tesla valve is a no-moving check valve that effectively inhibits the reverse flow of fluid. The propagation behavior of a deflagration premixed CH4/CO/Air flame was investigated experimentally in the pipe with Tesla valves. Changes in the dynamic structure, front position and velocity, and overpressure dynamics of premixed flame passing through the pipeline in different directions with different CH4 volume fraction (alpha(CH4)) were studied. Through the comparative studies of the flame front velocity in different directions, it is proved that the pipe with Tesla valves designed in this experiment has an inhibitory effect on the reverse flame propagation compared with the forward direction. The results show that the reversely inhibitory effect of the pipe with Tesla valves is the most obvious when the equivalence ratio (phi) is 1.0, and the flame front velocity and overpressure are significantly smaller than the forward direction. At phi = 1.0 and 0.8, the flame is suppressed by the Tesla valve and reflows, forming a tulip flame. It is noteworthy that the flame failed to propagate the pipe with Tesla valves from the reverse direction for phi = 0.8 and alpha(CH4) is 30%.
