One of the key technologies for realizing the current differential protection principle based on 5G communication in distribution networks is current data synchronization at both ends of a section. This paper analyzes the adaptability of the existing data synchronization methods to 5G current differential protection and introduces time synchronization indexes and implementation architecture in the 5Gprotocol. Based on this, an active distribution network differential synchronization integrated protection scheme based on 5G communication is proposed. The communication channel for differential protection is constructed by using the technology of a regional ad-hoc network, and information transmission does not depend on public network transmission equipment. Dynamic directional compensation technology is used to realize the accurate synchronization of data on each side, and it does not depend on the external synchronization equipment. A multi-level security strategy is adopted to strengthen network security and improve the security of the service data transmission and access. Finally, simulation tests show that the proposed differential synchronization integrated protection scheme can realize routable differential data processing, reduce the channel requirements of differential protection. Its monitor the sampling synchronization status in real time, so as to effectively realizing the accurate positioning and isolation of faults in the distribution network. Its improve the reliability of the differential protection and power supply of the distribution network.
