Predictive Dosimetry and Outcomes of Hepatocellular Carcinoma Treated by Y90 Resin Microsphere Radioembolization: A Retrospective Analysis Using 99mTC-MAA SPECT/CT and Planning Software

•In this retrospective study of 101 HCC patients treated with resin microspheres, higher absorbed tumor dose was seen in responding tumors than non-responders (P<0.001).•Through Cox analysis, only tumor dose predicted response, and a dose of 157 Gy predicted 90.0% probability of response at 6 months.•Through Cox analysis, both partition modeling and administered activity predicted progression free survival of the index tumor, and a dose of 157 Gy predicted 91.6% probability of progression free survival at 1 year.
