Correction to: Enhanced sensing response of Cd2+ substitution cobalt chromate ceramics for humidity sensors

For the first time, we have prepared cadmium-doped cobalt chromate with chemical formula Co1-xCdxCr2O4 (where x = 0, 0.03, 0.06, 0.09, 0.12, and 0.15) nanoparticles by solution combustion method. To examine the structural and morphological changes of the prepared samples were subjected to characterise X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). The XRD data demonstrate the formation of a single-phase cubic structure without an impurity peak emerging. Further, the strain and particle size components were calculated using the Williamson–Hall method and results are in good agreements with XRD results.
