Graphene oxide/polyacrylamide/aluminum ion-crosslinked carboxymethyl hemicelluloses (GO/PAM/Al3+-CMH) nanocomposite hydrogels were prepared by introducing GO into double PAM/CMH hydrogels followed by ionically crosslinking of Al3+. The combination of double network and nanofiller reinforcement endowed them with high strength and excellent elasticity. These as-prepared hydrogels have promising applications in bioengineering and drug-delivery system.
