摘要
Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) is an energy conversion device with high efficiency and cleanliness. However, anode carbon deposition severely affects SOFC performance during reforming with hydrocarbon fuels. In this paper, numerical simulations based on the Lattice Boltzmann (LB) method are used to construct the porous anode structure after carbon deposition by means of the binary dilation method, and the effects of different carbon deposition behaviors on the methane/steam flow behaviors and mass transport in the porous medium of SOFC anode are investigated. The results show that anode carbon deposition decreases the methane/steam mass transfer efficiency, and as the degree of carbon deposition increases, dead pores are formed and gas passage is impeded. This paper investigates the effect of different degrees of carbon deposition behavior on anode gas transport, which can further understand the importance of carbon removal in SOFC anode during the methane reforming reaction.
