Impact of composite modes on electrochemical properties of Fe3O4/CNTs for Li-ion storage

摘要
•Three distinct composite modes of Fe3O4/CNTs were successfully synthesized using a simple and controllable method.•The encapsulated composite mode alleviates the volume expansion and mitigates the agglomeration of Fe3O4 particles during the Li+ deintercalation process.•The embedded composite mode facilitates the formation of uniformly dispersed ultrafine Fe3O4 particles, thereby enhancing the kinetic performance of electrode.
