摘要
Atmospheric-pressure laminar flame speed measurements of methane diluted in airgon (79 % Ar/21 % O2) and air were performed at temperatures up to 1320 K using the shock-tube flame speed method. A mixture-scaling approach was used to convert methane/airgon measurements to methane/air equivalents for additional high-temperature data relevant to practical applications. Measurements and scaled data were compared with literature values, showing good agreement at overlapping conditions. Five kinetic models optimized for methane oxidation were used to simulate flame speeds. The reduced model by Stagni et al. (2015) and GRI 3.0 were the best in reproducing the present experimental data. Additionally, empirical correlations based on the power-law and non-Arrhenius models are reported, with the latter more accurately representing the experimental results.
