摘要
Pillars of Haitian society, women have been facing a glass ceiling in the higher education system. While more and more women are accessing university studies, few of them hold positions in higher education. Moreover, the few women working in universities find it difficult to devote themselves to scientific research. What is the place of women in institutional scientific research in Haiti? How do the successive crises, including COVID19, affect their activities and their determination? Based on anonymous interviews, we tried to answer these questions. The empirical results demonstrate a motivation as well as a determination of women in terms of maintaining their scientific publication activity even as the crisis continues. These researchers have positioned themselves as a force of proposal that can help to stem the crises.
