Compared to α-Fe2O3 solid NCs and α-Fe2O3 nucleoshell NCs, α-Fe2O3 hollow NCs-based TMA sensor exhibits high sensitivity, rapid response-recovery time and excellent selectivity in detecting TMA for indirectly assessing Carassius auratus freshness, which will make remarkable contribution for guaranteeing food safety and quality.
