Imaging metabolic mechanisms and the binding behavior of nutrients/transporters of edible Matricaria flowers VOCs

The sample gas of Anthemis nobilis was obtained by headspace solid phase microextraction (HS-SPM), and the volatile components of Anthemis nobilis were analyzed and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC–MS). The fingerprints of the volatile components of Anthemis nobilis and their binding to three transporter proteins were established. The content and molecular application of the components were used as screening conditions to obtain the active single molecules of Anthemis nobilis. Fluorescence spectroscopy, molecular simulation and ADMET (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion and toxicity) properties were used to investigate the effects of the active single molecules on the three transporter proteins, and to analyze the mechanisms of transport and metabolism of the active single molecules.
