Benefit Analysis of Park-level Integrated Energy System Transformation Planning Based on Electricity Substitution

In the context of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, electricity substitution transformation planning is carried out for the park-level integrated energy system, and the electricity substitution benefits generated after transformation are evaluated to measure the rationality and feasibility of the electricity substitution scheme. Before the transformation, the integrated energy system covers 4 major energy supply equipment, including combined cooling, heating, and power, gas boiler, air conditioner, and substation. To study the electricity substitution benefit, electric boilers, and electric energy storage are added to the existing planning scheme. Based on 8760 hours of historical multi-energy load data, several typical daily load curves are obtained by a clustering algorithm. The energy hub is used to describe the internal energy coupling of the system. Considering the construction cost and operation cost of the scheme, the minimum annual cost is taken as the objective to optimize the planning scheme, and the corresponding mixed integer linear programming problem is solved. According to the optimization results, the related indexes of electricity substitution are evaluated for the schemes before and after the transformation to reflect the planning benefits. The results show that the energy utilization efficiency and electrification level are improved, which provides theoretical support for the implementation of the electricity substitution.
