Communication and Computing Integrated Service Deployment Algorithms for All-Optical Clos Datacenter Networks.

We address the service deployment challenge in all-optical datacenter networks (DCNs) featuring a Clos topology, where the network is built using N×N wavelength selective switches (WSSs). We develop efficient routing, wavelength, computing, and time slot allocation (RWCTA) algorithms by extending the traditional waveplane-based algorithm to deploy the unicast and ring allreduce services, including waveplane-based (WP) and computing-wavelength plane-based (CWP) algorithms, respectively. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed CWP algorithm significantly reduces the overall task completion time (TCT) for both the unicast and ring allreduce services.
