Role of primary care for individuals with childhood-onset neurologic conditions

•We described the role of primary care in childhood-onset neurologic conditions.•The care is delivered through community- and hospital-based practice.•The practice includes multidisciplinary involvement, education, and coordination.•Efforts to deepen primary care are desired to improve health care transition.
