Research on underground mine coordinated operation scheduling based on HFSP

To realize the collaborative management and control of underground mine production, this paper proposed an underground mine coordinated operation scheduling (UMCOS) model based on the hybrid flowshop scheduling problem (HFSP), with the objective functions of minimizing the overall makespan and the total waiting time. Meanwhile, an improved particle swarm optimization (IPSO) algorithm is proposed. By adaptively adjusting the inertia weight and introducing crossover and mutation operations in the optimization process, the convergence and robustness of the traditional particle swarm optimization algorithm are remarkably enhanced. Compared with the traditional single-objective mathematical model method, the actual case study results showed that the UMCOS can minimize the overall makespan and realize the collaborative scheduling of multiple mining stopes, processes, and equipment, while ensuring a smooth dispatching and close connection of mining processes.
