Under the background of carbon peaking, carbon neutrality and integrated development of transportation and energy, and in view of the current situation of high emission and high energy consumption in expressway service area (ESA), an optimization operation model of integrated energy system (IES) including gas turbine, wind, photovoltaic, energy storage system and hydrogen is established with the lowest system operation cost and energy purchase cost as the objective function, which introduces power to gas and fuel cell to achieve bidirectional coupling of electricity and hydrogen. Then this paper takes a large expressway service area in the northwest of China as an example and sets different scenarios for example analysis. The simulation results show that the total operation cost of the system is greatly reduced and the utilization rate of renewable energy is effectively increased, which indicate that the proposed model can improve the system operation economy, green and low carbon development, and diverse interactivity while meeting the energy requirements of electricity and hydrogen in expressway service area. It has significant application value in promoting sustainable development in the fields of transportation, energy and power.
