•A widening racial gap in the utilization of TAVR in favor of the NHW population, compared to minoritized groups.•The above gap persisted in the setting of non-elective TAVR procedures.•The NHB cohort had lower rates of in-hospital mortality and pacemaker placement than the NHW cohort.•Hispanic patients incurred the highest hospital cost.
