摘要

•Fe3+ doping suppresses the ferromagnetism and conduction in La0.5Sr0.5Mn1-xFexO3.•Phase separation and cluster/spin glass behaviors are induced by Fe3+ dopants.•Magnetic field driven metamagnetic transition was observed in Fe3+-doped samples.•Fe3+ doping decreases the hopping electrons and weakens the double exchange interaction.
