Message from the Editor in Chief of Endocrine Practice: The Official Journal of the American Association of Endocrinology

Happy New Year from Endocrine Practice! We are quickly approaching our 30th anniversary following the first publication of Endocrine Practice (EP) in January 1995. Since our inception, we have published over 4000 original articles, reviews, commentaries, and letters. The past year continues to be a very successful year for the journal with many record milestones. The 2022 impact factor of EP rose to 4.2 (up from 3.7) which is the highest impact factor in the history of the journal. We received over 700 manuscript submissions in the past year, which also marks the highest number of submissions in the history of the journal. Finally, we continue to experience increases in the use of our journal with over 500,000 downloads of articles from EP in 2023. Our review times remain very competitive with median time to first standard decision within 30 days.
