Temperature Field Analysis of Linear Synchronous Motor for High Speed Maglev Train under Low Pressure Conditions

In recent years, the low vacuum tube high-speed maglev train has attracted increasing attention due to its advantages such as high speed, high reliability, and high efficiency. However, under the conditions of low vacuum and high speed, the friction between the maglev train body and the air as well as the linear synchronous traction motor generate a large amount of heat, resulting in severe temperature rise in the linear motor and posing a threat to the safety of the train. This paper proposes a three-dimensional temperature field analysis model for a linear synchronous motor used in high-speed maglev trains under low pressure conditions, which includes the structure of the linear motor components, a partial train body model, and a fluid analysis model. The model analyzes the cooling performance of the linear motor under the influence of the flowing wind generated during train operation, and obtains more accurate temperature rise results and temperature distribution of the linear motor. By solving the temperature field analysis results under 16 different train operation conditions, the influence of different train operation conditions on the temperature field results of the linear motor components is summarized, providing references for the design of the low-vacuum tube high-speed maglev train system.
