A Method for Evaluating Power Quality in Lightning Scenarios Based on Improved Entropy Weight Method

With the rapid development of the power industry, power quality issues are receiving increasing attention. Since the birth of the power system, lightning has always been a major natural factor that endangers the safety of the power grid and causes local or large-scale power outages. Every year, more than half of the global power system disturbances and power outages are caused by lightning, which has a negative impact on the normal operation of the power system and power quality. Therefore, it is of great significance to conduct a scientific and effective comprehensive evaluation of power quality in lightning scenarios. This paper aims to improve the traditional Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and propose a power quality evaluation method based on the improved entropy weight method in lightning scenarios, in order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the evaluation. An Ieee33 node lightning strike model was established for verification. Evaluate various indicators of power quality, provide definitions and measurement methods, and briefly analyze each type of power quality. Finally, this method is used to establish a MATLAB power quality analysis model, evaluate the power quality of some nodes in the IEEE33 example, and rank the power quality. The results obtained are compared with the traditional Analytic Hierarchy Process to verify the effectiveness of this method.
