摘要
MXene stands out as a remarkable class of 2D nanomaterials with a rapidly expanding array of uses. Its core features encompass a range of advantageous qualities, spanning optical, physicochemical, structural, and at times, even biological attributes. However, the material encounters limitations in natural settings due to its modest physiological stability, swift disintegration, and a controlled, sustained drug discharge deficiency. The majority of MXenes are obtained from the (MAX phase) by the etching process, which inevitably exposes a large number of metal atoms on the surface with other anions and cations established uncontrollably. This makes it challenging to create MXenes with the ideal surface groups of functionality that deliver significant reactivity and high stability. This comprehensive assessment delves deeply into MXene synthesis, scrutinizing the effects of surface functionalities on its performance. Furthermore, a comprehensive survey of diverse applications is encompassed. Consequently, these distinct traits underscore the potential of materials founded on MXene, poised to revolutionize contemporary applications.
