A new oligostilbenoid isolated from the stems of Ochna integerrima

Integerrimol A (1), a new oligostilbenoid, along with six known compounds (2-7), was isolated and characterized from the stems of Ochna integerrima. The structure of compound 1 was established through extensive spectroscopic analysis. Furthermore, the absolute configuration of compound 1 was determined using electronic circular dichroism (ECD) spectral analysis and by comparison with literature values. All of the isolated com-pounds were tested for their cytotoxicity, and among them, compounds 1 and 7 exhibited mild cytotoxic activity against the examined cancer cell lines.
