Synthesis, characterization, and cytotoxicity of Pt (Ⅱ) and Pd (Ⅱ) complexes with 2-phenyl-1H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline as ligand

In this study, two novel complexes PtLCl2 (1), PdLCl2 (2) were synthesised by one-step method, which belong to a trapezoid plane structure. In addition, DNA binding ability, and DNA cleavage, and the antitumor activity of complexes were further evaluated and investigated.
