摘要
•Four novel heterobimetallic Fe(II)-Cu(I) complexes based on dppf and dialkyldithiophosphate ligands were prepared.•Full characterization of the complexes was carried out using multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and single crystal X-ray crystallography studies.•These novel complexes proved to be efficient anticancer agents, degree of which depend on the nature of substituents on dialkyldithiophosphate ligands.•To calculate electronic structures, a density functional theory analysis of the Fe(II)-Cu(I) complexes were carried out.
