Regulation of prenylated rat sarcoma proteins via sequential azidation-selenylation and a click reaction

In recent years, research on posttranslational proteins has received widespread attention. In the toolbox of chemical biology targeting protein prenylation, we report a sequential azidation-selenylation reaction and a click reaction that can target posttranslational prenyl modified proteins. Inspired from PROTAC technique, we achieved the degradation of posttranslational prenyl modified RAS in the A549 cell line.
