American Association of Endocrine Surgeons Recorder's Note (January 2024 issue)

This issue of Surgery, like past years, includes the proceedings of our annual American Association of Endocrine Surgeons (AAES) meeting from April 2023 in Birmingham, Alabama. It features the excellent scientific work of our members with the transcribed discussions of each presented paper, which are in many ways even more illustrative than the work itself. This issue also contains the ‘AAES Position Statement on Selected Endocrine Surgery Billing Codes and Procedures: Addressing Gaps in the Current Coding Paradigm’ and an expanded section on innovation and technology.
