Luminescence properties of glass ceramics doped with Tb4O7 and containing Na3Gd (PO4)2

Abstract It has been determined that 374 nm is the optimal excitation wavelength for Tb 4 O 7 doped glass ceramics. XRD, SEM, UV spectrophotometer, and photoluminescence spectroscopy were used to study glass ceramics morphology and luminescence properties. 730°C is the optimal temperature for crystallizing. At 0.4mol% Tb 4 O 7 concentration and 2h crystallization time, this is the optimum solution. The results of this study indicate that glass-ceramics doped with Tb 3+ can be applied to green lasers and other systems.
