Purpose: The development of a biochemical leak (BL) after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) is common but does not complicate the postoperative course. However, BL can insidiously evolve toward a clear postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF). The aim of this work is to evaluate how minimally invasive surgery (MIS) impacts this event.
