摘要
In article number 2300137, Nathan J. Ray, Jae-Hyuck Yoo, Hoang T. Nguyen, and Eyal Feigenbaum demonstrate the ability to generate all-glass metasurfaces that exhibit negligible reflection across the broad wavelength band 350 nm (ultraviolet) to 2350 nm (mid-infrared), i.e., virtually the entire solar spectrum for both polarizations and for acceptance angles up to 100° (angle of incidence = ±50°). This is done by dry etching through advanced nanoparticle etching masks, yielding unprecedented aspect ratios of the resultant metasurface nanofeatures. Among the vast application-space available for these structures, the results have great potential for fabrication of cover glass for solar cells, frequency-converted laser systems, and additive manufacturing.
