In-house glutamine based compound loaded poly-(D-L-lactide-coglycolide) nanoparticles as a possible candidate for the management of chronic myeloid leukemia

摘要
•Synthesis of two novel p-nitrobenzenesulfonyl-D-glutamine derivatives (Compound 3 and Compound 4) and characterised by HRMS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy.•The IC50 value of Compound 3 was found 5.264 µM against K562 cell line which was most importantly very much less toxic against normal human PBMC.•The IC50 value of polymeric nanoparticles NP3 was found in nano-molar range (522 nM) against K562 cell line and is more than 5 times better active in comparison with Compound 3 and cellular cytotoxicity was found apoptosis mediated.
