RecycleBot, a Smart Recycling Robotic Platform

In recent years, one of the major problems to be addressed has been environmental pollution. One factor to be taken into account and one of the main causes of this situation has been recycling. The separation and treatment of all the waste generated has become a challenge of which the population must be made aware. That is, the consequences of not recycling can already be seen in the contemporary world, especially in those regions where it is not a daily practice and where resources are not allocated to raise awareness of its importance. In addition, recycling helps us save energy and use less raw materials in the creation of new products. The main objective of this project is to help the population to recycle waste by facilitating its separation through the use of a garbage separator that will identify the type of waste placed and introduce it into the corresponding bin.
