81‐1: Invited Paper: Highly stretchable backplane technologies for deformable display applications

Stretchable displays are a promising technology for developing new styles of deformable display applications. Here we develop two stretchable backplane technologies for future display applications. We first propose a highly stretchable metal‐oxide island thin‐film transistor array with an acrylic adhesive structure. We then construct a stretchable light‐emitting diode array containing stretchable through‐hole interconnects with printed stretchable conductors.
