Application of emulsion containing wheat-bran-derived lipids as a functional cosmetic raw material

본 연구는 밀기울 유래 지질을 첨가한 emulsion을 제조하여 유화안정성, 산화안정성 및 미백효능을 검토하고자 수행하였다. 품종별 밀기울 유래 지질 첨가 emulsion의 유화안정성은 대조구로 사용한 대두유보다 높아 입자의 분리 없이 안정함을 확인하였다. 과산화물가 측정 값은 모든 처리구에서 대조구보다 낮았으며, TBARS 값은 조경 0.3% 및 0.7% 처리구에서 유의적으로 낮게 유지되어 산패 변화에 안정함을 확인하였다. 밀기울 유래 지질이 첨가된 emulsion의 미백효과를 확인한 결과, 조경 0.7% 처리구에서 71.41%로 가장 높은 활성을 보였다. 이상의 결과를 종합하였을 때, 조경 밀기울 유래 지질을 첨가한 emulsion은 미백 효능 화장품 천연소재로서 실용 가능성이 있을 것으로 사료된다. This study examined the emulsion stability, oxidative stability, and skin-whitening effects of emulsions containing wheat-bran-derived lipids. The emulsions were prepared using soybean oil (control) containing different concentrations of wheat bran-derived lipids. The emulsion stability of the treatments (49.17-52.33%) was higher than that of the control (46.00%). The peroxide values of the emulsions containing wheat-bran-derived lipids were lower than those of the control, regardless of the cultivar or treatment ratio. Moreover, among the treatments, those with 0.3 and 0.7% of jokyoung resulted in the lowest emulsion thiobarbituric acid reactive substances values. The skin-whitening effect of the emulsions containing wheat-bran-derived lipids increased with the lipid content. The highest tyrosinase inhibition rate was observed with the 0.7% jokyoung treatment (71.41%), while the control exhibited the lowest enzyme inhibitory activity (p<0.05). Based on these results, we suggest that wheat-bran-derived lipids can be successfully applied in the cosmetics industry.
