Comparative analysis of the Distributed Storage projects by changing in the Age of Web 3.0 -Focus on BTFS(Bit Torrent File System)-

최근 데이터의 양과 종류가 증가함에 따라 기존부터 사용되던 중앙집중식 스토리지의 한계가 나타나고 있다. 이에 업무 및 서비스의 연속성 등을 지원하기 위해 여러 스토리지에 분산하여 저장하는 분산형 스토리지의 활용 필요성이 대두되었다. 하지만 분산형 스토리지 또한 대역폭 문제, 보안문제들과 같은 이슈를 가지고 있어 이를 해결하고 Web 3.0이나 NFT같은 새로운 기술의 등장을 반영하기 위해 분산형 스토리지 프로젝트가 등장했다. 본 연구는 여러 분산형 스토리지 프로젝트 중 특히 BTFS(Bit Torrent File system)의 프로세스 및 구조를 분석한다. 이후 분산형 스토리지 프로젝트 비교분석을 통해 BTFS가 분산형 스토리지 프로젝트 가운데 가장 활용 가능성이 높다고 분석되었다. 하지만 BTFS는 네트워크 및 스토리지를 공유할 뿐만 아니라 코인을 이용하여 거래되고 있어 이로 인해 발생할 수 있는 범죄에 대해서도 논의했다. 본 논문은 다양한 종류의 많은 데이터를 안전하면서도 운용유지에 필요한 비용을 절감할 수 있는 분산형 스토리지 프로젝트, 특히 BTFS에 대한 활용 가능성을 소개하는데 의의를 두고 있다. 향후에 BTFS 시스템에 대한 실제 범죄 가능성에 대해 판단하기 위한 시나리오 작성 및 실험 진행이 필요하다. Recently, the limitations of centralized storage have become apparent as the amount and type of data being produced increase. This has led to the emergence of distributed storage projects supporting the continuity of work and services. On the other hand, these projects face issues, such as bandwidth and security problems.In response, this study analyzed the Bit Torrent File System (BTFS) project among several distributed storage projects, and concluded that it has the highest potential for utilization. The paper discusses the potential risks of using coins for trading within the BTFS network.Overall, this study highlights the importance of utilizing distributed storage, such as BTFS, which can safely store various data types while reducing operation and maintenance costs. Further research should focus on developing scenarios and conducting experiments to determine the possibility of crime against the BTFS system.
