Glossy carbon electrodes with laser-induced periodic surface structures for electrochemiluminescent analysis

In this paper, the possibility of using glassy carbon electrodes modified with laser-induced periodic surface structures for conducting electrochemical and electrochemiluminescent studies and creating appropriate analytical systems is investigated. Modification of the surface of the electrodes is carried out with the help of a femtosecond laser. The surface morphology of the modified electrodes by atomic force microscopy shows the stable formation of periodic surface structures. Electrochemiluminescence studies indicate the possibility of effective use of such modified electrodes for the creation of electrochemiluminescent analytical systems.
