Patients who are in treatment for nonresectable pancreatic cancer could undergo some complications that could be considered life-threatening. The management of these complications, that varies across pancreatitis, jaundice, occlusion, and perforation, could be complex and requires a multidisciplinary approach in order to control the emergency, allowing the patient to continue the chemotherapy.
