Development of Risk Assessment and Control System for Drilling in Tarim Piedmont Structure

Drilling operation in piedmont structural zone of Tarim Basin is very risky. Based on the detailed description of the distribution and geological situation in front of Tarim Mountain, the main risks of drilling in front of Tarim Mountain are analyzed through long-term investigation, and the risks are classified and summarized. In order to reduce the risk of drilling in this area, the risk assessment and control system of drilling in Tarim Piedmont is developed, the overall structure of the system is designed, and the main functions of the system are described in detail around the key technologies of the system. The system has been tested in the field and meets the expected requirements.
