摘要
Taste Perception In article 2203316 by Longquan Shao and co-workers, tongue–brain transported zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) can induce neuroinflammation in the gustatory cortex (GC), reduce synaptic transmission in neurons, and ultimately lead to abnormal taste perception. Based on this unique discovery, inhibiting neuroinflammation or enhancing synaptic transmission can provide positive effects for the treatment of taste perception abnormalities.
