Literature Study of Resource Optimization in IWNs

Resource optimization is critical to meeting the deterministic performance requirements of low-cost IWNs, making it a hot research topic. This chapter first discusses the problem formulation for resource optimization in IWNs, including the performance index and resource constraints. Then, a detailed review to the state-of-the-art methods for resource optimization is delivered and the drawbacks of exiting resource optimization methods are discussed.
